Presently, I am trying to gather stories about the use of NIR. My plan is to make a sort of data visualization to show various trends within the light therapy niche and I do hope people respond to this..
What do you use NIR for?
September 21, 2020 at 1:41 pm #576mariedithParticipantHi grace peach, I am using my NIR as a part of skin care because I am prone to acne even at my age (sad to say) it helped me reduce acne marks. I also read a comment in this forum that kids can benefit with red light too. I am considering getting a new one for my kids’ room.
September 21, 2020 at 5:57 pm #590NIKKIGALParticipantGrace,
same as mariedith. I am using it initially as a part of skin care but as time goes by it helped me with my scars in my body too and helps me relax and sleep well. I read that red light also reduces hair loss and is beneficial for pets too. I never thought buying this red light has a lot of benefits.
September 22, 2020 at 2:18 pm #606yayanyayanParticipantHi Grace peach,
I am using it the same as nikki and mariedith. For skin care but as I browse I get to see a lot of use for the red light therapy that I am doing. I am so happy that I got into it. I never thought it will benefit me so much other than lightening my scars.
September 22, 2020 at 3:34 pm #610mariedithParticipantWow I never knew a lot have been using this for skin care too just like me… can you recommend me a good lotion and other cream that I can use to increase the results of my red light skin care?
September 23, 2020 at 5:48 pm #647NIKKIGALParticipantMariedith, I suggest before you put in your other skin care essentials start with the red light therapy as some says that you should avoid some products with red light exposures as it may cause burns, especially moisturizers.
September 24, 2020 at 5:34 pm #672MissKateParticipantI am using a combination of green light and red light. green while working and red when I wake up and before going to sleep. I read that green light therapy helps with migraines and headache. That is the reason why I am using that while I am working. lol
September 25, 2020 at 3:37 pm #689HoneyParticipantHi, I am new on this forum. Usually I enjoy reading reviews online and come across this forum. I’ve been using red light for a couple of months now. I enjoy it and quite like the results it has on my muscles and mood. I do not know that you can use it as a skin care too! Thank you so much guys. I remembered when I was in high school, when we have doctor’s appointment I would see this red lights and was fascinated by it. Now I know it has lots of benefits.
September 25, 2020 at 3:39 pm #690MissKateParticipantHello Honey, cute name. Is that your real name or just a make up one? Me too! whenever I have and my mother will accompany me and the other way around, I will see this big lamps of red bulbs. But that was when I was young, just now that I see the benefit of it and see why it was used on hospitals.
September 25, 2020 at 4:31 pm #692MaryJaneParticipantI am using it for family’s health because we all have seasonal allergies and red light therapy help lessen the symptoms and some times we do not feel it.
September 25, 2020 at 4:32 pm #693kimmy123Participanthello MaryJane, what kind of allergies do you have? I also have allergies and it is triggered mostly when it is fall and winter.
September 28, 2020 at 7:46 pm #741MissOiParticipantGood day!
any update about this grace peach? It would be lovely to update us we also would like to see your creation
September 29, 2020 at 3:50 pm #755memyselfandiParticipantNIR and RLT has a lot of use not just for skin care, how ever if you are using just the “bulb” as a skin care, I suggest you upgrade to something more suitable for your face. Like this one on the link
RubyLux Highest Intensity LED Light Therapy Mask with Neck Piece
October 5, 2020 at 7:32 pm #845PinkCometParticipantI agree with you @memyselfandi using NIRL bulbs might not be good for the long run. However, using the proper device for your face might help you better and give you long and better results.
October 8, 2020 at 1:53 pm #964reginthehouseParticipantLike what I’ve posted on the other thread, I also recommend using the RubyLux.
