In theory, Low-level laser therapy β€” also referred to as red light therapy and cold laser therapy β€” irradiates photons into scalp tissues. These photons are absorbed by weak cells to encourage hair growth.

It’s widely accepted that the procedure is safe, tolerable, and less invasive than hair transplant surgery.

Red light has proven to help both women and men with various conditions to regrow hair and even thicken the diameter of individual hair strands. Near-infrared and red light therapy has proven to help women with alopecia to significantly regrow and thicken hair.

@misspurple yes, I guess they are talking about the regular hair fall for women and balding for men.

@misspurple red light can also help with alopecia. It does minimize hair loss and scalp irritation.

Thank u so much for those articles. as I read, meaning i do not need any additional product to help with my hair loss. Just some daily sessions that will last for a few months. I can do that.

@DefianceLulu there’s a lot out there in the market. Actually, I saw a video wherein an old man created his own RLT helmet. I will try to look it up or search it on YouTube. I forgot where I saw that.

I’m very excited to start doing this therapy because of hair loss treatment. I’m still new here and been looking for some information about this.

I’ve been trying this for a couple of days now. I do not think it will work with what I have. I think I might need something more designed for this kind of treatment. Though I am not saying it is not effective it’s just been days..

Hi @masterpopo you’ll see the improvements if you continue on using this therapy specially on your mood and sleeping problems.

I also agree with that, as I’ve been using this continuously I can see the results. You’ll see the results on the 3rd to 5th week.
