    Hi guys,

What do you think is best and recommended for senior citizens, experiencing joints and muscle pains, between infrared light and red bulb lamp lights?

I would really love to recommend this therapy to one of my neighbors, bless her heart. She is very kind and generous and I would love to send her a little something. I know Christmas is still far, but it would not hurt me to give something in advance that she can use daily.

Hi Ozuna, I think Red light therapy can treat depressions, sleep and cognition for senior citizens. But I’m not sure, I hope someone can share some information about this.

@Ozuna, I think she should start with red light therapy because as far as I know, infrared light produces heat and that might not be something she would like for the first time specially she doesn’t know yet the benefits of infrared light therapy for her. You should let her start for something mild and easy to use first.

To be honest, after my dad started using the red light therapy he’s now more relax and he can sleep properly.

I see, thank you all for the advice. I am going with red light rather than infrared light. I hope this will help her as much as it helped me.

I’ve noticed that a lot of old people are using red light therapy and I’ve seen a lot of good result.

Thank you all guys. She likes the red light. I also notice that there is a new product on RubyLux for sauna. I just hoped I found it sooner before I decided to give my neighbor the gift. But anyways, she said that she’s been using it everyday before bed time. I am glad that she likes it and said that it is not irritating for her when she sleeps or when her eyes are closed.

Oh that’s great. I haven’t thought about that. This is a great idea specially now that it’s holiday season. I will go and give something for my dad too. He’s been complaining about his back as it is always sore.

I am not particularly sure but I am guessing she’s around 55-60 years old @misspurple. Why do you ask?

@misspurple – Maybe I can suggest you the blue light therapy since my mom really love using it for skin treatments. Also, if your mom is experiencing some sleep problem, red light therapy is the best to recommend.
