there are water-based serums and oil-based serums. Water-based serums have molecules that are tiny enough to penetrate to the deeper levels of the skin. Whereas, oil-based serums go on top of the moisturizer because of their bigger molecular size. They’re supposed to keep the creams and whatever other products you apply underneath moist. When you use an oil-based product containing a high amount of lipids, you increase the skin’s ability to prevent water loss.
    Here’s a typical sequence:

    1. Cleanse
    2. Toner
    3. Medication (if you use any) spot treatment
    4. Anti wrinkle cream- serum (thin)
    5. Moisturizer or Night Cream.

Remember that it’s critical to listen to your skin, get good professional advice, to find out what works best for you.

    I hope this helps!

If your symptoms don’t improve enough with light therapy, you may need additional treatment. Talk to your doctor/dermatologist about other treatment options, such as creams or serums.

For most people, light therapy is most effective when it’s done early in the morning, after you first wake up. Your doctor can help you determine the light therapy schedule that works best.

Hi miss littlered! If you think you are already getting good result after using blue light, I think you should stick with it only if you are satisfied with the results it is giving you. However, if we will to compare the two lights.

Blue lights prevents and kills bacteria that causes acne. On the other hand, red light penetrates deeper into the skin helping with healing. So it is up to you what results you are needed.

I use mine whenever I got free time. And mostly when I am soaking in the tub. That’s the time that I am relaxing the most. Normally during night time before meal. But as what they said. There is no schedule for you to do it. Whatever suits your schedule well, you can work on that.
