Actually, Red light has a photoprotective effect on the skin. It can act as a sunscreen.

November 4, 2020 at 3:56 pm in reply to: I've been using rubylux for 15 days now, I see improvements! #1290HoneyParticipantIt really depends on how we use it and what kind of treatment are we using RLT for and lastly out skin type/injury/illness.
HoneyParticipantAs i check, on the rubylux’s bulb description. It states that it does not emit harmful UVs. does that mean it does still emit UV it’s just that it is not harmful? Sorry I am confused.
HoneyParticipantHello @MissOi I am putting it after i use the RLT. I think putting it before might be risky for minor burn and redness.

HoneyParticipant@bigmomma I am not using any cream or anything else just a regular cleanser. Some folks here says that it will work better if you use green tea toner or serum. I haven’t tried that yet though.
October 28, 2020 at 1:50 pm in reply to: Is infrared light good for my kid who is very sport active? #1133HoneyParticipant@catherine Nice question. I might use that if answered to convince my brother.
HoneyParticipant@kimmy123 just like how testosterone improvement works, there are certain areas that you should avoid when doing RLT during pregnancy. I would suggest to do not directly focus the light on the belly/bump area.
HoneyParticipantYes it is a great idea @GeoLad but you must keep in mind that; With a 10,000-lux light box, light therapy typically involves daily sessions of about 20 to 30 minutes. But a lower-intensity light box, such as 2,500 lux, may require longer sessions. Check the manufacturer’s guidelines and follow your doctor’s instructions. He or she may suggest you start with shorter sessions and gradually increase the time.
HoneyParticipantThermal injury can occur even without pain. Also, pregnant women, people with heart diseases, and those who are sick should never undergo infrared therapy.
HoneyParticipantI am using this to lessen my wrinkles and it works great actually.
HoneyParticipantohh @Marianne thank you so much for that. I am kind of looking for that just if someone asked me since I am always recommending it to my friends.
