I am same with you @mariedith, I think it might affect may it be good or bad, the results of RLT. I think I will stick with RLT for the first 3 mos and see if I use other products, if it will relatively be more effective.
kimmy123ParticipantThat’s a good thing though! I mean RLT being researched to be one of the cure of the CORONA VIRUS not the younger generation having it easy lol.
kimmy123Participantsince the last few weeks I have been using my RLT and can tell the difference but not that very visible. small steps. My face is more bouncy and glowing.

kimmy123ParticipantThank you all everybody. She did consult her OB Gyne and was advised to use it on the face only and use light mask if available. Thank you all for your concerns too.
kimmy123ParticipantOne of the big reasons I started looking into red light therapy is because of the potential for improved thyroid function. There are several compelling studies that look at the benefits of red light and near infrared therapy for thyroid health. I personally started researching this benefit after seeing doctors use this therapy for thyroid disease while visiting a natural medicine clinic in Switzerland. While I was there, they had me wear a red light therapy device on my neck to benefit my thyroid. I’ve been continuing this therapy at home with my red light.

kimmy123ParticipantOh I see. Thank you all for the inputs. I guess I will stay with blue light for my face and red light for my body.
kimmy123ParticipantBut I suggest to still use sunblock for UV protection. We should not rely everything to RLT. It just ‘helps’ with the process of protecting, repairing and healing these problems.
kimmy123Participant@littlered it was a great lamp specially if you are always in one place. like me. I am working at home so when I open the lamp I am working and it helps with my back pain when working
kimmy123ParticipantDepending on your specific purpose, there are a few different devices you may want to consider. (If you have specialty needs like brain health, or skin health, it will affect the wavelengths you want, the power of the device, and even the type of device.)
kimmy123ParticipantWill there be bad side effects if you simultaneously switch light type/colors each day?

kimmy123ParticipantI am using this kind of Lamp. Do you think what he is describing is the same with mine?
