@gudemama That’s what I read too. But I only use it during morning before I do my morning skin routine. I will try to use it on sunset time too.

    Hi girls,

It’s essential you let your aesthetician know if you are pregnant (even if you’re waiting to share the news with friends and family) so they can tailor your treatment and can be avoid any potentially harmful ingredients.

Be particularly careful about your skin treatment during pregnancy. Not only is your body undergoing rapid changes at this time, there is also the possibility of chemicals being absorbed into the skin. Ideally, any treatment you have should be very mild. Also, test for potential adverse reactions before using anything, even for treatments you’ve had in the past as your skin can be unpredictable at this time.

    Hello Marsha,

if you are looking for a concrete study about the effect of IRL as an anti-aging here is the link for a good read : A Controlled Trial to Determine the Efficacy of Red and Near-Infrared Light Treatment in Patient Satisfaction, Reduction of Fine Lines, Wrinkles, Skin Roughness, and Intradermal Collagen Density Increase

But if you are asking for personal experience, I would suggest you to browse each thread here especially those about anti-aging and skin care. A lot have given their testimonies about how IRL and RLT helped them with their acne and wrinkles.

You should know your body and skin type and check if light therapy is good and suitable for your type. Some lights if not used properly and with care might leave a red mark or burn you.

Hello DefianceLulu, I am no expert when it comes to precautions. Though, I would suggest what I am using. I am using RubyLux’s protective goggles. I hope it will suit you well too.

Hi gals. Me, my husband and kids are all using red light as a night’s lamp. Kids are less grumpy when they wake up (you know kids) and less cranky because they need to wake up for online classes. My husband’s been more attentive in the morning as well. So I highly recommend for you guys to try it as a night lamp too!

    Hi Fishguy,

i think you received a infrared heat lamp or something similar to that. You can go check google out if they are the same.

If you are to use the red light, I assure you, you will not be sorry as it does not have any bad effects to the body. But just like Bambi said, you just` have to be careful with your eyes as it might impair your vision.

mariedith, I am using RubyLux’s NIR light. You can check out their products here RubyLux NIR-A Near Infrared Bulb – Grade A

I am using it as a replacement bulb in my bedtime lamp. I am planning to buy the lamps as well but I am still new and want to know if buying the lamp would be a good idea or using the regular lamp will do.

Hi. I searched online and found out that the most optimal time of using red light therapy is during morning or evening around the time of sunrise and sunset. Cause it kind of mimic’s the sun’s natural red and NIR light.

I have been using it daily as a skin care routine. I just started using it and as I searched it is safe to use red light daily even 2 to 3 times a day. Also, it responds well to multiple daily uses and using it more than once a day may bring you faster results. A red light therapy device does not harm the surface of your skin or the underlying tissue.
