October 26, 2020 at 8:09 pm in reply to: Is infrared light therapy only good for my body? or can I use for my pet? #1107memyselfandiParticipant
I do have a pet and I am not kind of active here. Do you think it is good for aquatic animals too?
memyselfandiParticipantThank you all so much for answering my first question. Though I would like to know if there is an article or a research that will answer if RLT can also boost women’s estrogen.
memyselfandiParticipantI agree with @rafrafrafraf001 so if you are planning to treat your acne, I suggest you use the combination of red and blue light.
memyselfandiParticipantThat’s actually depends on what type of cure you are aiming. RLT helps you cure a lot of things but it depends on the severity of it, I guess.
memyselfandiParticipantrafraf thank you so much for sharing that. Now I know that it reduces cause of inflammation.
memyselfandiParticipantYou are correct rafraf. Red light helps our vision but as long as we keep the recommended distance of 6inches to the bulbs, it is all okay. But, if you are sensitive to the lights just like i said, and you are uncomfortable with the rays. by all means, use a glass or goggles to protect your eyes.
memyselfandiParticipant@MomOfGrace I really do not have a skin care routine. Just wash my face to remove dirt maybe because I am not using too much make up now since I am just at home.
memyselfandiParticipant@biversen, I will go and look online for some research for that too. I know I should’ve ask that on a diff thread. I will do so now. Thank you so much for answering me.
memyselfandiParticipantRenee, I agree to you and biversen. Both red and blue light are different but most likely the same in some areas. Specially if you use them at the same time correctly. You just have to be careful and be cautious on how far and how strong the light you will apply.
memyselfandiParticipantThis I am quite intrigued as well. I asked if it really can increase testosterone and estrogen levels. I am wondering if there will be a bad effect for the woman and the baby if it is used.
memyselfandiParticipantHow about the effect on Estrogens for women? If it can increase testosterone level, is it also possible for increase in women’s estrogen?
memyselfandiParticipantNIR and RLT has a lot of use not just for skin care, how ever if you are using just the “bulb” as a skin care, I suggest you upgrade to something more suitable for your face. Like this one on the link
RubyLux Highest Intensity LED Light Therapy Mask with Neck Piece
memyselfandiParticipantI guess the question is between red light and NIR light and how to they differ. Not about blue or red light.
memyselfandiParticipantYou don’t need goggles. Some people do prefer them, though. It depends on your sensitivity to light and your personal preference!
Here’s a good read for why you do not need those extra goggles.

memyselfandiParticipantHi, I am new. I have insomnia, Do you think NIR light therapy or red light therapy will help me with this?
