RLT and NIR can really cure and helps with a lot of things including as an anti-aging treatment or routine. This is why I am glad that I was introduced to this kind of therapy early. Helps me physically be prepared when the time I am old and frail 🙂

@kimmy123 also the reason why you need to choose carefully what type of light you will use and read how it can affect you indirectly and directly.

It is not just good for your body as well. It is good for your skin, immune system and allergies. So as much as you worry about it, you do not have to since they can benefit from it too.

Although you don’t need a prescription to buy a light therapy box, it’s best to ask your doctor or mental health provider if light therapy is a good option for you. Ask whether you need to take any special precautions. Also discuss which type of light therapy box would best meet your needs, so you get the most benefit and minimize possible side effects.

Light therapy boxes should be designed to filter out harmful ultraviolet (UV) light, but some may not filter it all out. UV light can cause skin and eye damage. Look for a light therapy box that emits as little UV light as possible..

Blue and Red light both have healing capabilities, the only difference they have is the penetration and the wavelength they have. Red has deeper and bigger wavelength that those of blue.

I am taking medicines for high blood pressure too. As far as I am using it, there was no bad side effects for me. I am also doing regular check ups with my doctor and he did not say anything bad when I informed him about me doing this therapy.

I was once on a sauna with a red light. I never knew I can make one for my house. Can someone tell me at least an estimate of how much it will cost me?

I use mine anytime I have free time as I am always busy. Sometimes I forget about it during night time. But during day time as long as I have free time I will use my NIR light.

Miss LittleRed, if you think blue right is doing you good I suggest you to keep doing blue light therapy. However, based on your curiosity, just to feed it, why not try both? Or try red light for a couple of months and see if there will be optimal results than the blue light. Do not take me wrong I do not want you to be a human guinea pig, but that is just my suggestion.
